Properties

This product is a slightly yellow clear liquid.

Pharmacological Actions

Anthelmintic. Mebendazole exerts its effect by binding to parasitic cellular tubulin and interfering with microtubule formation.

Function & Use

Anthelmintic. Used for the treatment of monogenean infections (such as Dactylogyrus, Pseudodactylogyrus, Gyrodactylus, etc.) in fish.

Usage & Dosage

Dilute with 2000 times the volume of water uniformly before splashing:

For the treatment of monogenean infections in black carp, grass carp, silver carp, bighead carp, and mandarin fish: 0.1-0.15g per 1m³ of water (based on the product).

For the treatment of monogenean infections in European eel and American eel: 0.25-0.5g per 1m³ of water (based on the product).

Adverse Reactions

No adverse reactions have been observed when used in accordance with the specified dosage and administration.

Precautions

Contraindicated for channel catfish and southern catfish.

Use with caution in specially cultured species.
