1. Astragalus membranaceus primarily treats qi deficiency, renowned as the "best among qi-invigorating herbs". In TCM, "qi" corresponds to the immune function in Western medicine, so qi deficiency refers to low immunity. Thus, astragalus polysaccharides have the effects of invigorating qi to raise yang, strengthening the body's defense, promoting diuresis to reduce swelling, and supporting wound healing, significantly enhancing the non-specific and humoral immune functions of livestock and poultry.

2. As a specialized Chinese herbal medicine for pig farms, it clears heat and detoxifies, strengthens the body while eliminating pathogens, and enhances disease resistance. It protects the liver and kidneys, improves hepatic detoxification, and accelerates renal metabolism. Clinical observations show it enhances non-specific immunity in pigs, boosts disease resistance, increases maternal antibody levels in breast milk, and prolongs their effectiveness, thereby improving piglet survival rates. It also relieves sow constipation, tear stains, petechiae, and dead skin caused by mycotoxin or drug poisoning.

3. It has specific effects against postpartum infections, endometritis, urogenital infections, and dermatitis/soft tissue infections caused by various bacteria. Meanwhile, it effectively reduces the incidence of yellow-white scours, salmonellosis, and viral diarrhea in farrowing piglets.

4. It inhibits the expression of N protein and N gene—longer infection duration enhances the inhibitory effect—thereby blocking the replication of PRRS，PCV, and other viruses in the body. It also clears free radicals generated by these viruses, achieving strong viral purification. This thoroughly resolves sow issues like abortion, stillbirth, prolonged pregnancy, post-weaning anestrus, repeat infertility, low immunity, and poor disease resistance caused by PRRS and PCV.

5. By regulating immunoglobulin activity, this product increases total immunoglobulin levels in sows and maintains them at a high level, stimulating antibody activity to enhance overall immunity. This indirectly inhibits or kills various pathogens (E. coli, Salmonella, Streptococcus) and viruses (PRRS, PCV, parvovirus, JE).

6. It stimulates gastrointestinal responses, enhances digestive tract peristalsis, accelerates nutrient digestion/absorption, shortens emptying time, and promotes feed intake, appetite, nutrition supplementation, and constipation prevention.

1. Application starting from replacement gilts: Fundamentally regulate the body, promote vitamin and mineral absorption in replacement gilts, enabling them to achieve breeding standards for body shape and weight as early as possible for timely insemination. Only by ensuring normal development and good production performance of replacement gilts can viral/bacterial infections be prevented, and sow productivity improved.

2. Enhancing productivity of multiparous sows: Regular feeding of multiparous sows strengthens physical condition, purifies reproductive disorders caused by PRRS, PCV, etc., accelerates post-illness recovery, reduces obstetric diseases, regulates the endocrine system, shortens the non-pregnant period, promotes normal estrus and insemination, avoids repeated infertility, extends sow service life, and improves productivity.

3. Regular feeding for pregnant sows: Prevents abortion, reduces prenatal anorexia, constipation, high fever, joint pain, paralysis, and other prenatal diseases. Body conditioning avoids dystocia, shortens parturition duration, prevents stillbirths, mummified fetuses, and weak piglets, ensuring robust newborns with high survival rates. It also increases maternal antibody levels in breast milk to enhance neonatal resistance.

4. Feeding from postpartum to weaning: Prevents postpartum triad (metritis-mastitis-agalactia), strengthens piglet resistance, reduces diarrhea, accelerates growth, and minimizes diseases. This helps piglets maintain optimal condition for weaning and reduces post-weaning morbidity.

 Adaptation Symptoms

1. Shortens the non-pregnant period of multiparous sows, addressing anoestrus, false estrus, repeated infertility, pseudopregnancy, etc., caused by uteritis, vaginitis, and oophoritis.

2. Manages anorexia/poor appetite before and after farrowing, high fever, constipation, abortion, premature birth, stillbirth, mummified fetuses, dystocia, prolonged parturition, retained placenta in sows caused by unknown reasons.

3. Alleviates postpartum fatigue, rectal/vaginal prolapse, endometritis, and other obstetric diseases in sows.

4. Improves low immunity, diarrhea, coughing, wheezing, swollen joints, and uneven weaning litter weight in newborn piglets.

 Usage and Dosage

For non-pregnant sows: Mix 1 bag of this product with 75 kg of feed and feed for 8-10 days.

For pregnant sows: Mix 1 bag with 50kg of feed and use for 10-15 days per month.

For lactating sows: Mix 1 bag with 40kg of feed and feed until the sows are weaned.

For long-term use: Mix 1 bag with 100kg of feed for continuous feeding.
